Well established Carlsbad, CA Health Insurance firm seeks an Account Manager with health insurance and/or Employee Benefits experience for immediate full-time position paying competitive market salary plus a generous benefits package.
Title: Account Manager
Position: Direct Hire
Compensation: 45k – 60k+ DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
• Develop meaningful relationships at multiple levels within customer accounts and maintain a keen understanding of the customer’s business and service requirements in order to ensure responsiveness to their needs.
• Share best practices and help maximize value of products and services to the customer.
• Works closely with insurance carriers and their underwriting departments, ensuring the highest level of service to the clients.
• Always exceed client expectations, continuously delivering value added services and treating each client with an unprecedented level of personal service.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience managing a high volume, transactional book of business in a similar role
• Health Insurance experience 1+ years or equivalent experience within a similar role
• Microsoft Office, Data entry and active user of CRM systems
• Outgoing personality with a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with Employee Benefits, Employee Handbooks and Compliance
• Education: Bachelor’s degree
